Our Services
Orca IT Solutions has supported Arizona businesses from our Gilbert office since 2015. We run the whole stack, servers, networks, Microsoft 365, security, backups and the laptop on your receptionist’s desk. Nothing is outsourced, offshored or handed to a dispatch service.
Overview
Most small businesses in Gilbert and Chandler end up with three vendors: someone for the network, someone for the phones, and whoever fixed the last broken laptop. That is how problems fall between chairs.
Orca IT was built to be the single number you call. The same engineers who designed your VLANs also know why the accounting workstation reboots at 4pm, because they set it up. When a support request comes in, nobody has to be briefed on your environment from scratch. That is the practical value of a small, permanent team over a large call queue.
The pages below are organized the way real IT work happens. Managed IT and support is the ongoing relationship: monitoring, patching, help desk, budgeting. Infrastructure and cloud is the foundation underneath it: switching, Wi-Fi, servers, Microsoft 365 and identity. Security and continuity is the protective layer: audits, ransomware prevention, backup, disaster recovery. Repair, upgrades and hardware is the physical side, from a cracked ThinkPad screen to a rack of custom-built servers.
You do not have to buy all of it. Plenty of clients start with a single project, a Wi-Fi redesign, an Exchange migration, a failed RAID array, and only later move onto a managed plan. We are happy either way, and we say so before you ask.
Our Deep Dive assessment is a genuine review of your environment, not a sales walkthrough. We inventory devices, check patch levels, look at how backups are actually running (not how they are configured), review your Microsoft 365 tenant for the security defaults nobody enabled, and map the network as it exists rather than as the last vendor drew it.
You get a written summary with priorities ranked by risk and cost. If the answer is that three specific changes will fix ninety percent of your pain and you do not need a managed contract, that is what the document will say. Read more about how we are different if that surprises you.
Arizona adds its own wrinkles. Summer heat kills unventilated closet servers and network gear mounted above ceiling tiles. Monsoon power events take out unprotected switches and NAS units every July and August. Stucco and block construction wreck Wi-Fi coverage plans drawn on paper. We design around all three because we work here, not because we read about it.
For businesses outside the Phoenix metro, most of what we do travels. Monitoring, patching, help desk, Microsoft 365 work, security hardening and server administration are all delivered remotely across all 50 states through our remote IT support practice. Only hands-on work, cabling, hardware swaps, office moves, requires us to be in the room.

How We Start
A short call about what is broken, what is slow, and what you are planning for the next year. No script, no discovery deck.
We assess the environment: devices, patch state, backups, network, Microsoft 365 tenant, security gaps. Free, and yours to keep.
You get a written list ranked by risk and cost, separated into fix-now, fix-this-quarter, and plan-for-later.
We do the work, either as a fixed project or as ongoing Pod Care with a named team of engineers who stay yours.
No obligation, no bundled proposal you have to sit through. If you take the report to another provider, that is your right.
Why Orca
Six things clients tell us they did not get from their previous provider.
Every engineer who touches your systems is on our payroll in Arizona. No offshore call center, no dispatch marketplace, no subcontracted stranger with your admin password.
You are assigned a pod, a small, permanent group of engineers. They learn your environment once and keep that knowledge, so you stop re-explaining your own business.
Reports and recommendations are written so an owner can make a decision without a translator. Technical detail is available, but it is never the headline.
Flat monthly per-user pricing for managed clients, fixed quotes for projects, and honest hourly work when that genuinely suits you better.
If a cloud migration would cost you more than it saves, we will show you the math and recommend staying put. Selling you the wrong thing costs us the relationship.
Onsite across Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, Tempe, Scottsdale and greater Phoenix. Remote coverage for teams in all 50 states.
One assessment tells you more about your IT risk than a year of guessing.
No. A large share of our work is project based or hourly: a Wi-Fi redesign, a server replacement, a mailbox migration, a laptop repair. Managed plans exist because ongoing coverage is cheaper and calmer than emergencies, but we will not refuse project work. Plenty of clients try us on one job first.
Our onsite territory is the Phoenix metro and East Valley: Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, Tempe, Ahwatukee, Queen Creek, San Tan Valley, Scottsdale, Phoenix, Apache Junction and Maricopa. Our office is in Gilbert, so East Valley clients usually see the shortest response times.
Yes, remotely, in all 50 states. Monitoring, patching, help desk, Microsoft 365 administration, security work and server management do not require anyone in the room. For physical work outside our territory we will tell you plainly that you need local hands, rather than billing you for travel.
None of it. Every technician is employed by Orca IT and based in Arizona. We do not use third-party dispatch networks, overflow call centers or subcontracted labor, which is why the person you speak to in month one is still there in year three.
Managed clients get a same-business-day human response, with after-hours emergency handling for business-stopping issues. Systems are monitored around the clock, so a fair number of problems are opened by us before anyone at your office notices.
We inventory your devices, review patch and antivirus state, verify whether backups are completing and restorable, look at your Microsoft 365 tenant security settings, and map the network. You receive a written report with prioritized recommendations. There is no obligation and the document is yours.
Yes. We do not hold hardware, domains, licenses or backup data hostage. Everything is purchased in your name and documented so that, if you ever move on, another provider can pick it up without a fight.
Managed IT is flat monthly per-user pricing, so your budget is predictable. Projects are fixed quotes agreed before work starts. Ad-hoc repair and support is hourly. No long-term contract is required to begin, and we will not publish a number without seeing your environment first.
Talk to Your Pod
Tell us what is going wrong, or what you are trying to build. We will tell you honestly whether it is a one-hour fix, a project, or a sign you need ongoing support. The assessment costs nothing.
