Remote IT Support
Roughly four out of five issues never needed anyone to drive anywhere. A secure remote session gets an engineer onto the machine in minutes, with your permission and your view of everything they do. We support businesses in all 50 states from our Gilbert, Arizona office.
If you are a client of Orca IT Solutions, use the button below to request remote support. It opens our secure session tool so an engineer can connect to your screen with your permission. First time? Our TeamViewer setup guide walks through every click.
Overview
The old model, call someone, wait for a truck, lose the afternoon, survives mostly out of habit. For software faults, configuration problems, mail issues, printing failures, performance complaints and most security work, a remote session is faster and cheaper for everyone.
We connect through an encrypted session that you approve. You see the cursor move, you see every window opened, and you can end the connection with one click at any point. For managed clients we deploy a persistent agent so sessions can start instantly and so monitoring can catch problems before anyone reports them; for one-off support we use a temporary session that leaves nothing behind.
Windows and macOS faults, profile corruption, update failures and blue screens. Microsoft 365 problems, mailbox access, licensing, Teams, OneDrive sync, SharePoint permissions. Printer and scanner mapping. Line-of-business application errors, including QuickBooks multi-user and file access issues. VPN and remote access configuration. Performance troubleshooting, malware cleanup, backup verification and restore.
On the infrastructure side we administer servers, firewalls, switches and access points remotely, because those devices are managed over the network anyway. A switch in Tucson and a switch in Tampa are the same job from our console.
Hardware replacement, cabling, rack work, office moves and anything requiring someone to look at a screen that will not turn on. For clients inside the Phoenix metro we simply come out. For clients elsewhere we say so plainly and, where it helps, we will walk a local person or a nearby vendor through the physical steps while we handle the configuration side.
We would rather tell a business in Ohio that they need local hands than bill them for a session that cannot solve the problem.
Businesses outside Arizona use us as their full IT department, and it works because so little of modern IT is physical. Monitoring, patching, security, identity management, backup, cloud administration and help desk all run over the wire. Companies with several small offices particularly benefit, because one team covers every location instead of finding a separate vendor per city.
You can read city-specific detail on our nationwide remote support pages, and there is more on the delivery model at remote.orcait.io. If your issue turns out to be hardware, our diagnosis service covers what happens next.

How It Works
Call or submit a request describing what is happening. A human reads it the same business day, not a bot that asks you to restart.
We send a secure connection link. You run a small tool that shows a one-time ID, you read it to your engineer, and you can watch or end the session at any moment. The step-by-step guide shows exactly what you will see.
An engineer diagnoses and fixes, narrating what they find. If it needs escalation it moves inside your pod without you re-explaining.
We verify the fix with you, record the root cause, and note anything worth changing so the same problem does not return.
One-off sessions use a temporary tool that uninstalls when we disconnect. Persistent agents are only for clients who want monitoring.

Why Orca
Six reasons distance stops mattering.
You are assigned a pod. They remember your environment, your applications and your users, so sessions get shorter over time rather than longer.
Every technician is employed by Orca IT in Arizona. Nothing routes to an overseas call center or a third-party dispatch network.
Sessions require your approval, run in full view, and end when you say. Access is logged and auditable.
Arizona does not observe daylight saving, so our hours line up usefully with both coasts for most of the year.
If your problem needs a screwdriver, we tell you immediately instead of burning an hour proving it remotely.
Remote clients get monitoring, patching, security, backup and strategy, the same program our Arizona clients get, minus the driving.
All fifty. Remote work does not care about state lines, and we support clients from the Pacific Northwest to Florida. Our onsite territory is separate and covers the Phoenix metro and East Valley only.
Connections are encrypted and require your explicit approval to start. You see everything the engineer does in real time and can terminate the session instantly. Access is logged, and for ad-hoc support the tool removes itself when we disconnect.
Not for one-off support. A temporary agent runs for the session and uninstalls afterward. Ongoing clients do get a persistent agent, because that is what enables monitoring, patching and instant session start without someone at the keyboard.
For clients with a persistent agent we can connect unattended, which is how after-hours maintenance and overnight patching get done without disrupting anyone. Unattended access is configured with your permission and can be restricted to specific machines.
Usually within minutes for urgent issues during business hours, and always with a human response the same business day. Managed clients also get after-hours emergency handling for anything that stops the business.
Anything physical: hardware replacement, cabling, a machine that will not power on, rack installations and office moves. We will say so early rather than charging you to discover it. Inside the Phoenix metro we come out; elsewhere we coordinate with local hands.
Generally yes, because you are not paying for travel time and the fix starts immediately. It is also less disruptive, since nobody has to be available to let a technician into the building.
Yes. We support Windows 10 and 11, Windows Server, and macOS including Apple silicon machines. Mixed environments are normal for us, and our Mac support page covers the Apple-specific side in more depth.
