Managed IT · Gilbert, Arizona
Orca IT Solutions is a family-owned managed IT provider in Gilbert, Arizona, serving small and mid-size businesses since 2015. Every client is assigned a pod, a small, permanent group of our own engineers who learn your network and stay with it. Nothing is outsourced, offshored or dispatched to a stranger.
Who We Are
We have kept Arizona businesses running since 2015, the same family, the same engineers, the same phone number.
Orca IT Solutions is family owned and family operated out of Gilbert, Arizona. That is not a marketing line, it is an operating constraint. When you call (602) 677-0779 you reach somebody who works for Orca IT. Not an offshore call center. Not a dispatch service that subcontracts your ticket to whoever is free that afternoon. Not a rotating queue of names you will never see twice. We have never outsourced a client, and we do not intend to start, more on that in about Orca IT.
We do five things and we do them for the same businesses year after year: managed IT, network administration, cyber security, remote support, and computer and laptop repair. Most clients arrive with one problem, a server that keeps falling over, a phishing email that got through, a laptop that will not boot the day before payroll, and end up handing us the whole environment. You can browse everything on our Services page, or read the deeper detail on our managed IT microsite.
A pod is a small, named team of our engineers permanently assigned to your account. The same lead engineer, the same backup, the same person who set up your VLANs and knows why the accounting workstation has a static IP. They hold the documentation, they run your patch schedule, and they show up when something breaks.
This matters more than it sounds. Most IT problems are not hard; they are hard for a stranger. A technician meeting your network for the first time spends forty minutes discovering what your pod already knows. Continuity is the single largest lever on resolution time, and it costs you nothing extra.
IT is a spend, so it should be argued in the language of money. Flat monthly pricing turns an unpredictable line item into a budget you can defend. Proactive patching and monitoring turn four-hour outages into fifteen-minute ones nobody notices. Standardized hardware and imaging cut new-hire setup from a day to an hour. When we present a project, we tell you what it costs, what it saves, and how long the payback takes. If the numbers do not work, we say so.
Onsite, we cover the Phoenix metro and the East Valley, Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, Tempe, Ahwatukee, Queen Creek, San Tan Valley, Scottsdale, Phoenix, Apache Junction and Maricopa. Remotely, we support staff in all 50 states, which matters for the growing number of Arizona companies with people scattered across the country. See the full list of areas we serve, or read how nationwide remote support works for distributed teams.
Some environments are already fine. Some problems are a fifteen-minute fix, not a contract. We would rather be the company that told you the truth and earned the next call.

The Pod Model
Orcas travel in small permanent family groups. They do not hunt alone and they do not swap members between jobs. Neither do we.
A named lead engineer and a named backup, assigned to your business. You learn their names; they learn your network.
Documentation lives with the pod, not in one person's head. Nobody rediscovers your printer VLAN twice.
Tier 1 to Tier 2 to the network or security lead, inside the same building in Gilbert. No handoff to a third party.
Onsite when it needs hands, remote when it does not, and reachable after hours for Pod Care clients when something is genuinely on fire.
What Changes
The point of good IT is that you notice it less. Here is what usually goes away in the first quarter.
Flat monthly per-user pricing covers support, monitoring and patching. Projects are quoted before they start, never after.
You reach a technician who already knows your environment. Same-business-day human response, and after-hours emergency response for Pod Care clients.
Pod Watch handles Windows, macOS and third-party patching on a schedule, with reporting so you can prove it was done.
We run image-level backup with Veeam-class tooling and test restores on a schedule. An untested backup is a rumor.
MFA across Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, conditional access rules, and a password manager rolled out to staff rather than emailed around.
Owners and office managers stop losing hours to Wi-Fi, printers and license renewals. That time goes back to the actual business.

Fit & Focus
We are a good fit for organizations of roughly five to two hundred staff that depend on their systems and cannot afford a full internal IT department.
Different industries break in different ways. A dental practice cares about imaging software and HIPAA technical safeguards. A law firm cares about document management, email security and client confidentiality. A manufacturer cares about the aging Windows box running the CNC and whether it is isolated on its own VLAN. A retail group cares about point-of-sale uptime on a Saturday. We tune the stack to the work rather than selling one template to everybody, the full list is on our industries page.
We are also honest about scope. We help you meet the technical safeguards behind frameworks like HIPAA and PCI, access control, encryption, audit logging, backup, MFA, and we document what we did. We do not certify you compliant, because no IT provider legitimately can. That distinction has saved several of our clients an uncomfortable conversation with an auditor.
Nothing about the first month requires a leap of faith. The Deep Dive is free. There is no long-term contract required. You own your hardware and your licenses, and if you ever leave, the documentation goes with you. We would rather earn the renewal every month than trap you in a three-year term.
If you want to talk it through, contact us or ask for a written estimate through estimates. If you just need one machine fixed today, that is fine too, plenty of long-term clients started with a single laptop.
One more thing worth saying plainly: we are not the cheapest option in the Phoenix metro, and we are not trying to be. We are the option where the same engineers know your network, answer within the business day, and can explain in one paragraph what your money bought. Over a year that is almost always the cheaper outcome, because the expensive part of IT was never the invoice. It was the eleven hours your team spent unable to work.
We make money when nothing breaks. That is the whole design.Orca IT Solutions, Gilbert AZ
How It Works
A short conversation about what hurts, how many people you have, and what you are spending now. Fifteen minutes, no pitch deck.
We assess your network, endpoints, servers, Microsoft 365 tenant, backups and security posture, then hand you the findings in writing. Free.
You get a flat monthly number, a fix-first list ranked by risk and cost, and a clear line between what is included and what is a project.
Your pod deploys monitoring, patching and security tooling, documents everything, and meets your staff so they know who to call.
You keep the findings either way. Most owners learn something about their network in the first hour.
Industries
Each of these has its own software, its own regulators and its own definition of downtime.
One team, one number, one flat monthly cost. Talk to a Gilbert-based engineer today.
We are a managed IT provider covering five areas: managed IT services, network administration, cyber security, remote support, and computer and laptop repair. Most clients put their entire environment on our Pod Care plan, which bundles monitoring, patching, help desk and strategy into one flat monthly per-user cost. Others use us for a single project or a single repair.
A pod is a small, permanent team of our own engineers assigned to your business. You get the same lead engineer and the same backup rather than a rotating queue, so nobody has to rediscover how your network is built every time you call. The pod holds your documentation, runs your patch schedule and handles escalation internally.
No. Every technician who touches your systems is an Orca IT employee working out of Arizona. We do not use offshore call centers, third-party dispatch networks or subcontracted field techs. That rule limits how fast we can grow, and we accept that trade.
We cover the Phoenix metro and East Valley: Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, Tempe, Ahwatukee, Queen Creek, San Tan Valley, Scottsdale, Phoenix, Apache Junction and Maricopa. If you sit just outside that ring, call us anyway and we will tell you honestly whether we can serve you well.
Yes. Remote support covers all 50 states, which matters for Arizona companies with remote employees or satellite offices. Remote clients get the same pod, the same monitoring stack and the same response commitment. Onsite hands in other states are arranged case by case and quoted up front.
Pod Care is priced flat per user per month, so your bill moves only when your headcount does. The exact number depends on how many users and servers you have, what security tier you need and how much legacy equipment is in play. We quote it after the free Deep Dive rather than guessing over the phone.
No long-term contract is required. We would rather earn the renewal each month than lock you into three years. You also own your own hardware and licenses, and if you ever leave, your documentation goes with you.
Support requests get a human response the same business day, and Pod Care clients have after-hours emergency response for genuine outages. Our monitoring runs 24/7, so in many cases we open the ticket before anyone at your office notices. We do not claim to have phones staffed around the clock, because that would not be true.
